Christophe SOULIE

Christophe SOULIE, Founder and President of AF AMSEA, began practicing martial arts in 1984, with Karate Do, then jointly in 1988 with Aikido. He will continue this double teaching until 1992, then will teach two first years in Paris. At the same time, for a few years he practiced various methods of self-defense and kick-and-fist boxing, an introduction to various weapons and finally the energy arts of Qi Gong.

At the same time, he discovered Filipino martial arts and Jeet Kune Do through internships and enrolled his practice in the curriculum of the Bob Breen Academy.

After a few years of practice, it was in 1997 that he decided to open a Kali-JKD and Self Defense room in Paris, accompanied by Jean-Yves PERNOT, a partner since 1994. In 1998, they both decided to create the Asp Dojo, on Saint Maur, which later became the AF AMSEA.

It was in 2001, during an internship in France, that he met Daniel LONERO. Since that date, he has followed his teaching, first in Luxembourg, then in France, during the numerous seminars he organises, thirty-five to date, and in Los Angeles, within the Inosanto Académy. It was in 2010 that AF AMSEA became a member of the XTMA Cross Training Martial Art, founded by Daniel LONERO.

From 2007/2008 to 2013, he was responsible for the AMSEA National Commission, project manager, and National Referent within the French Federation of Karate and Associated Disciplines, where he worked for the development of Filipino martial arts in France. At that time, he worked on setting up technical, educational and communication tools, under the responsibility of a National Commission under the supervision of the National Technical Department. AFAMSEA was affiliated to FFKDA from 2006 to 2020.

He still participates in federal and associative life in relations with various federations, in particular as an adviser, technical and educational judge.

In addition, he has been studying for many years in the professions of fitness and well-being, which he has been teaching since 1998, and for which he is also a state graduate and technical and educational manager in an associative environment.

Also a professional in the fields of safety and prevention, he is a trainer in Health and Safety, an area for which he has been developing and leading training programs for several years.

Finally, he intervenes in the field of "energy arts" since he also teaches Qi Gong, a discipline for which he was largely trained and is still trained today at the Chinese Culture Center of "Times of the Body", reference in the matter.
