Disciplines and Courses
The style we teach is the Inosanto Blend System.
This system was created by Guro Dan Inosanto from the teaching he received from his Filipino Martial Arts teachers; there are about 25 during all these years.
There are officially in the system called "Inosanto Lacoste system" 12 work sectors. They are studied according to the choice of schools and their priorities.
We favor in our teaching the study of the single stick, the double stick, the stick in combination with a knife or a dagger, the single or double knife, the long stick; finally Panantukan, Filipino boxing. These areas of work are all approached according to a technical progression faithful to the IAMA curriculum through the teaching we received from Daniel LONERO, professor at the Inosanto Academy and personal assistant to Dan Inosanto.
Panantukan; Filipino boxing.
This sector includes many percussion techniques for both upper limbs/fists, elbows and lower limbs/feet, knees as well as key, imbalance, lead-off and floor work techniques.
Accessible to all, the practice of these disciplines offers a great diversity of work, and brings together playful and traditional aspects as well as those of combat and self-defense.
